PURPOSE: A sealing member and a process cartridge are provided to prevent an image quality down by a vertical stripe by preventing a leakage of a developer of a developer accepting unit. CONSTITUTION: A sealing member(94) is composed of a thermoplastic elastomer containing a copolymer and a plasticizer. A molecular weight distribution peak a tetrahydrofuran proportion of the thermoplastic elastomer measured by a GPC respectively exists on a domain in which the molecular weight is 4,000 or less' and 'the molecular weight is 200,000 domain to 30,000 at least one. A rate of the molecular weight 800 or less component' at 'the domain in which the molecular weight is 5,000 or less' is 30% or less.
