摘要：
PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing a rich-media service are provided to supply a rich media service adaptive to a service situation and the performance of a receiving terminal through the provision of rich media contents such as memory information, computation amount of a terminal, the complexity of contents, and so on. CONSTITUTION: A LASeR content generator(200) generates an element and property information, and crates rich-media contents. The rich media contents includes the LASer data and the information. A LAseR encoder(210) encodes the LASeR contents, and LASeR content generator(220) transmits the encoded LASeR contents of the LASeR encoder to a terminal.
