PURPOSE: A curtain airbag device for a vehicle is provided to prevent an air cushion from sticking out of a clearance of a deformed door or damaged door glass by restricting expansion of the air cushion using a tether. CONSTITUTION: A curtain airbag device for a vehicle includes an air cushion(200) and tethers(50,52,54,56). The air cushion is inflated with gas provided by an inflator. The tethers are arranged on an exterior surface of the air cushion, facing a door, in order to prevent the air cushion from expanded out of a vehicle.
