PURPOSE: A sound emitting device, an acoustic transmitting system using a sound emitting device, a method and a device for detecting electromagnetic signal are provided to emit a sound wave by expanding and contracting ambient air through temperature change of carbon nanotube structure. CONSTITUTION: In a device, a sound generation device(114) corresponds with an electromagnetic wave signal input unit(112) while they are separated from each other. The sound generation device comprises a carbon nanotube structure. The electromagnetic wave signal input unit radiates an electromagnetic wave signal. The carbon nanotube structure receives the electromagnetic wave signal and radiates a sound wave. The carbon nanotube structure has a carbon nanotube films, carbon nanotube linear structure, and a arbitrary composite structure.
