摘要：
A method and an apparatus for transmitting data in a wireless local area network using visible light communication are provided to reduce retransmission overhead when data in which transceiving is failed is retransmitted at a transmitting side. A transmission side MAC(Media Access Control) layer delivers a data packet and control information of the data packet to a transmission side PHY(Physical) layer(410). The transmission side PHY layer encodes the data and transmits it with the control information to a receiving side PHY layer(420). The receiving side PHY layer transmits a feedbag message including error information to the transmission side MAC layer(430). The transmission side MAC layer inspects a feedback message. When a block having failed receiving exists, the transmission side MAC layer retransmits the failed block(440).
