A wind power generator which makes it possible to reduce size and weight of a nacelle baseplate, and has an excellent serviceability in replacing components, etc. The wind power generator generates electric power by driving a generator (20) connected to a rotor head (4) which is attached with rotor blades (5) of a wind turbine and is rotated integrally with the rotor blades of the wind turbine, via a drive train (10). At least part of the drive train (10) for transferring the torque from the rotor head (4) to the generator (20) is disposed in front of the rotor head (4)on the side opposite to the nacelle. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
