A helmet which is capable of mounting or demounting a shield plate by simplifying structure of a connecting member is provided. A helmet comprises a helmet body part(100), a first base plate(200), a second base plate(300), a spring(400), and a shield plate(500). The first base plate comprises a first base plate body part(210), a first slide part(220), a supporting member, a second slide part(240), a slide guide groove(250), a projecting partition(260), a shield rotation guide groove(270), and a first spring-supporting part(280). The second base plate comprises a second base plate body part(310), a first locking part(320), a first structure-connecting hook, a second locking part(340), a second structure-connecting hook, a second spring-supporting part(370), a third structure-connecting hook(380), and a lever(390). A top side(321) is formed aslope on an end portion of the first locking part extending from the circumferential wall of the supporting member. A top side(341) is formed aslope on an end portion of the second locking part extending from the projecting partition. The shield plate includes a shield plate body part(510), a rotary shaft(520), a first rotary hook, a click projecting part(540), and a second rotary hook.
