摘要：
A long jump control apparatus of optical pick-up and a method thereof are provided to stabilize servo operation by removing inertial force to an objective lens in an opposite direction of long jump in case of long jump operation performance. A long jump control apparatus of optical pick-up comprises: a first step(S11) for confirming the direction of long jump in case a long jump mode to the specific target position of an optical disc is set up; a second step for forming tilt by raising one side of objective lens of optical pick-up according to the direction of the confirmed long jump; and a third step for removing the tilt of the objective lens in case the long jump operation is completely performed with forming the tilt.
