A piezoelectric ink-jet head and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve print quality by obtaining uniform ink discharging performance through nozzles. A piezoelectric ink-jet head upper, middle, and lower substrates(110,120,130), a membrane(160), a cavity(162), and a venting channel(164). The upper substrate includes an ink inlet(152), pressure chambers(155), and a piezoelectric actuator(140). The pressure chambers contain ink introduced through the ink inlet. The piezoelectric actuator provides a driving force for discharging the ink into each of the pressure chambers. The middle substrate is formed beneath the upper substrate and includes a manifold(153), a restrictor(154), and first dampers(156). The manifold is connected to the ink inlet. The restrictor connects the manifold and each of the pressure chambers. The first dampers are formed corresponding to the pressure chambers. The lower substrate is formed beneath the middle substrate and includes nozzles(158). The nozzles discharge the ink. The membrane is positioned below the manifold and reduces pressure change in the manifold. The cavity is positioned below the membrane. The venting channel connects the cavity to an external device.
