Each cylinder is provided with a spark plug, two intake valves, a direct fuel injector, and a port fuel injector. If the homogeneous combustion is requested, the direct fuel injector and the port fuel injector injects the fuel on the engine cycle of the same. The port fuel injectors, the fuel is injected toward the outer area of the intake valve larger than the injected fuel toward the inner area of the intake valve, and thereby is provided so that only the inflow of the wear is caused in the vicinity of the inner area of the intake valve.
