PURPOSE: A behavior control device of a vehicle is provided to prevent such an unstable state of the vehicle as roll vibration and pitch vibration and to effectively prevent roll of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A behavior control device of a vehicle determines the possibility of roll. The behavior control device calculates a desired braking control value for reducing the possibility, in a state of making the desired braking control value high when the possibility is high and controls the braking force of wheels on the basis of the desired braking control value. The behavior control device restricts the increase and decrease grade of the braking force of the vehicle based on the desired braking control value after starting the control of the braking force of the wheels based on the desired braking control value. The vehicle has a vehicle speed sensor(38) detecting the vehicle speed; a yaw rate sensor(40) detecting a yaw rate of the vehicle; a front and rear acceleration sensor detecting the front and rear acceleration of the vehicle; a transverse acceleration sensor(44) detecting the transverse acceleration of the vehicle; a pitch rate sensor(46) detecting a pitch rate of the pitch and a roll rate sensor(48) detecting a roll rate of the vehicle.
