PURPOSE: A device for loading/discharging/classifying cards and a controlling method thereof are provided to load the various used card to one cartridge and automatically classify the cards into each sort. CONSTITUTION: A card reader(20) reads the sort of the card(C) discharged from the cartridge(10) by installing upon the discharged card. A controller(30) controls a card classification process by connecting to the card reader. A card feeding path(40) comprises rollers arranged in front of the card reader and uniformly separated with each other. Stoppers(50) are elevated between the rollers, and stop or continue movement of the card by receiving an order from the controller. Card loading boxes(60) load the cards discharged from the card feeding path according to each card sort by installing at the card feeding path between the stoppers. A sensor checks the card loading box and/or the cards in the card loading box by installing to each card loading box and connecting to the controller.
