PURPOSE: A method for separating an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel from a substrate is provided to prevent signal lines of an LCD panel from being damaged when a glass substrate is scribed and cut. CONSTITUTION: A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate part having the first area is separated from the first mother substrate(100) to form a TFT substrate. A TFT substrate is cut from the second mother substrate(200) along the edge of the TFT substrate such that a color filter substrate part(210,220) having the second area smaller than the first area is included in the TFT substrate to form the first color filter substrate(215,225). The edge of the first color field substrate, which covers signal lines arranged on the TFT substrate, is cut into at least two parts to form the second color filter substrate having the second area.
