PURPOSE: Provided is an adhesive tape, which simplifies a manual static reel changeover process, is easily applied to 5 m or more of web widths by itself with no use of supplementary devices and mechanisms, and has a small thickness sufficient to resist against pressure stress in a wound reel. CONSTITUTION: The adhesive tape is for use in reel changeover of a flat web material to be wound on a reel and comprises a main carrier(2), a self-adhesive composition(3) coated on the front surface thereof and at least one system(6) capable of separation the adhesive and disposed on the rear surface thereof. In the adhesive tape, the self-adhesive composition(3) has a shear force of 1000 minutes or more on a coating base paper and 2000 minutes or more on a gravure paper, as determined under a load of 1 kg at a relative humidity of 55% and a temperature of 23 deg.C, in order to absorb a high shear system force in static manual reel change over process.
