PURPOSE: An image processing method for automatically registering and correcting an image are provided to automatically and precisely register/correct the image by automatically extracting a CP(Control Point) and removing a mismatched control point from the extracted control points. CONSTITUTION: If a target image and the ancillary data including the information for a position, an incidence angle, and an orientation angle of the target image are inputted, a concerning region is set by finding out a reference image corresponding to a region including the target image(S102), and a CP chip included in the concerning region of the reference image is extracted(S103). A matched point of the target image for the CP in the extracted CP chip is searched. The mismatched point is removed from a matching result. The target image is arranged in a geographic coordinate system by using the matching result.
