PURPOSE: A light emitting diode lamp is provided to monitor and display the operation of an alternating current(AC) power system, by installing a pn-junction diode in a lamp indicating the operating state of the system. CONSTITUTION: A base(110) receives power applied from the exterior through the first and second points. The first and second lead electrodes(121,125) are extended from the first and second contact points. A diode(140) is formed between the first contact point and the first lead electrode. A light emitting diode device(130) is formed in an upper end of a side of the second lead electrode. A molding body(150) protects the light emitting diode device, coupled to an upper end of the base.
