PURPOSE: An antiseep and thermal insulation tank is provided which has a heat insulated caisson of a simple construction at low costs, while its improved heat insulating characteristics are being exhibited. CONSTITUTION: Two continuous waterproof barriers are provided, and one of them is a first barrier in contact with products stored in a tank, while the other one is a second barrier set between the first barrier and a support structure. Each of the barriers comprises a large number of parallelepipedic caissons(102), and each of the caissons has a bottom panel(105) and a top panel(106) each made of a plywood. The caissons are spaced apart, from one another, by means of a spacer piece(103). Each of the caissons is partially filled with a block of foamed plastics(104) formed along the height of the piece.
