PURPOSE: Provided is steel tire cord comprising twisted steel wires, which is used for a reinforcement of a tire and improved a rubber adhesive property. CONSTITUTION: The surface of the steel wire comprises triple plating layers: 1-8 g (based on the steel wire of 1 Kg) of a brass plating layer; 0.1-1.0 g (based on the steel wire of 1 Kg) of a cobalt plating layer on the brass plating layer; 0.1-1.0 g (based on the steel wire of 1 Kg) of a copper plating layer on the cobalt plating layer.
