본 발명은 코발트 산화물을 이용하여 코발트 금속을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 코발트 산화물을 질소 환원제와 300 내지 550℃에서 반응시켜 코발트 금속을 제조한다. 본 발명의 방법에 의하면, 비교적 저온에서 고순도로 코발트 금속을 제조할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 담체에 담지되어 있는 코발트 산화물로부터도 코발트 금속을 제조할 수 있다.

The present invention relates to a process using a cobalt oxide for preparing cobalt metal. According to the present invention, by reacting a cobalt oxide in a nitrogen reducing agent and 300 to 550 ℃ to prepare a cobalt metal. According to the method of the present invention can be achieved which is capable of producing a cobalt metal at a relatively low temperature to a high purity, and cobalt from an oxide that is supported on a support can also be manufactured of a cobalt metal.
