The digitizer for converting analog video signal corresponding to one frame to 256 row by 256 column digital signals comprises peripheral interface adapters (1,2), a video separator (3), a synch. counter (6) , a horizontal synch. comparator (7), an amplifier (8), a vertical synch. counter (9), a compensator (10), a vertical synch. comparator (11), an A/D converter (12), a latch (13), and a CPU (14). The digitalization of the video signal for one frame is performed only when the triple signals of the CPU, the clock of 19.661 MHz, and the horizontal synchronization are matched with each other.
