Intelligent pulse width modulation (PWM) controller to optimize the efficiency by integrating a micro-controller, PWM digital circuits and analog circuits in one integrated circuit, and remove a hot spot, and applying the SMPS system operating parameters to eliminate the fault external connection reducing the number of, and may be reduced silicon die area and an integrated circuit package. Lossless inductor current sensing techniques are integrated without causing a loss in power matching circuit in order to accurately measure the current through the power inductor of the SMPS tunable filter and the complementary intelligent SMPS controller.
