In one embodiment, the surgical instrument includes a waveguide harmonic motion as possible. Motion as possible harmonic wave guide includes a first driving section including a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of the first drive section may be configured to be connected to the ultrasound transducer. Motion as possible harmonic wave guide further comprises a first flexible waveguide coupled to the distal end of the first drive section. An end effector extending distally from the first flexible pipe. The surgical instrument further includes a motion actuator for bending the first flexible waveguide.
