Possible consistent memory copy operation logic, and also to copy the data to the destination memory locations from the source memory location as well as replication of the write request to the source memory area to produce a duplicate write request. Memory consistent copy logic is further operable to copy the content by executing a replicated write requests to the destination memory area from the external memory area. Then, the power source for the memory can be reduced for power saving during which the internal memory is used. Thus, any type of a "hardware memory mover" does not require the use of any complicated software synchronization, it does not cause any service interruption during the move as a result of memory. Memory consistent copy logic is transparent to the application software and the user, for example, to reassign the application memory space in the internal memory inside the chip from an external memory. The method corresponding is also described.
