The present invention relates to a method of using a multi-component nucleic acid complex (MNA complex) cascade. MNA complex may have a cut or Riga activity. The present invention also provides a cascade that can contain one or more DNA atom. In addition, the present invention provides a method for using such a cascade to identify, detect, and quantify the target.
