A bulk process for producing a continuous carpet filament is In one embodiment, the dirty flake from (A) the step of grinding the regenerated PET bottles into a group of flakes and the step of washing the (B) flakes, (C) a group of flakes and the step of identifying and removing the impurities and, (D) the step of maintaining the pressure in the MRS portion of MRS extruder to less than about 1.5 mbar through the group of flakes through the MRS extruder comprising, (E) from about 50 micrometers and forming at least a polymer phase and as a result, (F) the regenerated polymer passing the melt through a filter having a micron rating of less than a bulk continuous filament carpet consisting essentially reproduced PET.
