It is at least about the endoscope for articulating smile surgery with a flexible joint with one degree of freedom of the present invention. When used with a surgical robot having a plurality of robotic arms, the endoscope can be used in combination with any of the plurality of arms, and thus, it is possible to use a normal design of the arm. By the endoscope according to the present invention it is attached to a frame of reference that is used to control the at least one degree of freedom to the flexible joint for the articulated motion associated with at least one degree of freedom and, this makes a user more intuitively. Endoscope according to the present invention attenuates the unwanted motion that at its back / apical by obtaining an image of an object associated with at least one degree of freedom and on the basis of the reference frame that rotates around the rotation point is located close to the flexible joint.
