본 발명에 따르면, 브레이크 슈의 외면에 부착되어, 브레이크 드럼의 내면과 밀착됨으로써 제동력을 발생시키는 브레이크 라이닝에 있어서,
(1) 전체 100중량부에 대해 페놀수지 2~10중량부, NBR 5~15중량부, SBR 5~15중량부, CBR 5~10중량부, 아라미드섬유 1~10중량부, 유리섬유 3~15중량부, 암면 3~15중량부, 면섬유 5~8중량부, 바라이트 5~20중량부, 소석회 3~8중량부, 흑연 5~15중량부, 몰리브덴 1~5중량부, 유화안티몬 1~5중량부, 카본블랙 2~10중량부, 유황 1~5중량부, 알루미나 0.5~3중량부, 산화마그네슘 1~5중량부, 산화철 1~3중량부, 산화아연 1~3중량부, 구리 3~10중량부, 황동 3~10중량부, 알루미늄 1~5중량부로 이루어진 원료조성물을 준비하는 단계;
(2)상기 원료조성물을 배합기에 투입하여, 배합기의 내부 분위기 온도를 100℃ 이하로 하고 3kg/㎠의 압력을 가하여 고형물을 만들고, 이 고형물을 분쇄하여 마스터배치를 제조하는 단계;
(3)상기 마스터배치를 금형에 투입하고 가열가압하여 라이닝원판을 제조하는 단계;
(4)상기 라이닝원판을 상기 브레이크 슈의 크기에 맞도록 절단하여 예비 라이닝을 제조하는 단계;를 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 브레이크 라이닝제조방법이 제공된다.
