摘要：
원격 사용자와 로컬 사용자 간의 다양한 언어적 또는 비언어적 상호작용이 가능하도록 하는 원격 존재 장치에 관한 것이다. 일 실시예에 따르면, 원격 존재 장치는 방향 조절 수단이 결합된 카메라와, 카메라의 상단에 구비되어 방향 조절 수단에 의해 카메라와 함께 방향이 조절되는 프로젝터 및 방향 조절 수단을 작동하여 카메라의 방향을 조절하고 방향이 조절된 카메라에 의해 획득된 영상에서 원격 사용자가 응시하는 물체를 추출하여 그 물체와 관련된 프로젝터 영상을 생성하고, 프로젝터를 제어하여 프로젝터 영상을 물체의 주위에 프로젝션하는 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
