摘要：

본 발명의 목적은, 간이한 장치 구성에 의해 피측정물의 진동의 영향을 받지 않고 고정밀도로 두께 분포의 측정을 행하는 것이다. 본 발명에 있어서는, 피측정물(1)의 표리 각면에 대하여 레이저 광원(2)의 출사광을 2분기한 빔광을 다시 2분기시켜 참조면 및 표리 서로 대향하는 측정점(1a, 1b)에 반사시키고, 참조광과 물체광을 직교하는 편광 성분으로 하는 비간섭광(Pax, Pbx)을 얻어 그것을 복수로 분기시킨다. 분기광 중 1개 이상에 대하여 파장판(a261, a263, a264) 등에서 직교하는 편광 성분의 위상차에 변화를 부여하여 위상 시프트를 행하고, 위상 시프트 후의 분기광에 있어서의 참조광 및 물체광의 편광 방향을 기준으로 하는 공통의 편광 성분의 추출에 의해 간섭광(Qa1 내지 Qa4, Qb1 내지 Qb4)을 얻는다. 그들의 강도로부터 비간섭광에 있어서의 참조광 및 물체광의 편광 성분의 위상차가 산출되고, 그 위상차의 분포로부터 피측정물(1)의 두께 분포가 산출된다.
