The present invention relates to energy storage and discharge system and comprises the steps of cooling the air and removing moisture so that the inflow portion for guiding the air introduced into the cooling tube assembly in a vertical direction. The air is compressed against the outside from the cooling tube assembly. The remaining moisture is substantially eliminated. The air is cooled in the main heat exchanger to substantially liquefy the refrigerant by using the air loop. The substantially liquefied air is directed to a storage device. In the energy release mode, the operation loops air is allowed to warm to the release of the release liquid air to substantially evaporate the liquid air, the emitted liquid air to cool the working loop air so that the operating loop air is substantially liquefied in. The substantially vaporized into the air is burned by the combustion flows toward the combustion chamber. Part of the expanded combustion gases may be used to substantially evaporated by heating the emitted liquid air.
