차량 내에 설치되도록 구성된 아동 안전 좌석은 저부를 포함하는 좌석과 베이스를 포함할 수 있으며, 그 좌석은 축을 따라서 베이스에 연결된다. 그 베이스와 좌석은 그 사이에 배치된 공동을 함께 한정하고, 좌석 저부는 전방 충격 중에 좌석을 베이스에 연결하는 축 주위로 회전하여 좌석 저부가 공동 안으로 진행하게끔 구성된다. 안전 좌석은 공동 내에 배치된 에너지 흡수 부재를 포함할 수 있고, 에너지 흡수 부재는 전방 충격 중에 좌석 저부가 공동 안으로 진행함에 따라서 변형되도록 구성된다. 에너지 흡수 부재는 좌석 저부의 공동 안으로의 실질적으로 수직인 움직임에 의하여 변형될 수 있다.

Child safety seat adapted to be installed in a vehicle can comprise a seat and a base that includes a bottom portion, the seat is connected to the axis according to the base. Only the base and the seat with a cavity disposed therebetween and the seat bottom is configured to rotate about an axis that connects the seat to the base during a front impact hagekkeum progress in the seat bottom portion cavity. Safety seat may include an energy absorbing member disposed within the cavity, energy-absorbing member is configured to be thus deformed as the seat bottom portion proceeds in the cavity front impact. The energy absorbing member may be deformed by substantially vertical movement of the joint in the seat bottom.
