PURPOSE: An emergency sailing system for a ship and an emergency sailing method using the same are provided to simultaneously check a moving path and the location of the chip and to perform communication through a portable emergency operation unit. CONSTITUTION: An emergency operation unit(100) includes a satellite navigation module(110), a communication module(120), a display module(130), and a broadcasting module(140). The satellite navigation module performs the emergency sailing of a ship and checks a location. The communication module transmits and receives a wireless signal using a frequency band of a specific band for emergency communication. The display module displays information related to the sailing of the ship and information around the ship scanned in radar. The broadcasting module facilitates emergency broadcasting in the ship. A wired communication unit(300) facilitates an emergency call with an officer in a steering room and an engine room of the ship. A cable connection unit(400) connects the emergency operation unit and the wired communication unit.
