A method for use with this quality splint for the treatment of a variety of pelvic floor conditions is provided. One embodiment of a vaginal splint has a first side and a second side, the proximal side of the base portion, first side and a first connecting portion, and a distal side of the base part extending between the respective first ends of the two side in, the first including a base portion having a configuration defined by a second connecting portion extending between each of the second end of the first side and a second side.
