본 발명은 자동변속기용 애뉼러스 기어(annulus gear) 제조 방법에 관한 것으로서, 통형 작업물을 제공하는 제1 단계와, 상기 통형 작업물을 맨드릴에 고정시키고 회전시키면서 통형 작업물의 외측 둘레에 제1 롤러를 접촉시켜 둘레 방향을 따라 제1 환형 오목부를 제1 플로우 포밍(flow forming) 가공하여 성형하는 제2 단계와, 상기 통형 작업물의 길이 방향에 대해서 제1 환형 오목부의 제1 경계부와 제2 경계부를 넘어선 부분에 제2 환형 오목부 및 제3 환형 오목부를 제2 플로우 포밍 가공하여 성형하는 제3 단계를 포함한다.
