PURPOSE: A lighting device using an LED package is provided to increase an amount of the light irradiated to a horizontal direction and luminous intensity by forming a lens element having a light emitting surface with a square shape on an LED package. CONSTITUTION: A main body(130) has an internal space surrounded with an upper surface, a side, and a lower surface. The internal space is divided into a first space and a second space by a horizontal plate. A lighting unit(110) is arranged in the first space. The lighting unit is comprised of a plurality of LED packages(113), lens elements(112), and optical sources(111) including a heat sink(115). The lens element is comprised of the upper part and the lower part. The heat sink is mounted in the lower part of the LED package to face the lower part of the main body. A power supply(120) is arranged in the second space. The power supply is electrically connected to the lighting unit and supplies the power for driving the lighting unit. The lens element has a support for supporting the lens element in the lower part of each edge. The edges are arranged to contact each other in the lens elements.
