摘要:
An apparatus and a method for teaching a remote laser welding head are provided to improve the welding quality and reduce the working hour by performing a teaching operation of the remote laser welding head in an accurate and efficient manner. An apparatus for teaching a remote laser welding head comprises: an optical unit(110) comprised of a variable collimator(111), a beam expander(112) and a focusing lens(113); an X-axis mirror and a Y-axis mirror for reflecting laser beams guided by the optical unit onto weldments; a remote head part(100) including an X-axis galvanometer scanner(122) and a Y-axis galvanometer scanner(132) for rotationally driving the X-axis mirror and the Y-axis mirror; a distance sensor(200) movably linked to the remote head part to measure a distance between the remote head part and the weldments; a control device(300) for controlling the variable collimator, the X-axis galvanometer scanner, the Y-axis galvanometer scanner and the distance sensor, and storing data; and a teaching pendent(400) connected to the control device to teach coordinates of the remote head part.
