Web 10 of material has a plurality of the stem (12) extending at least from one side. Web has a second layer of material has a second side surface of the first layer 14 and the material of the material having a first side (16). Material on the second layer has a second side extending in a first side and a plurality of stems (12) which faces the first side of the first layer. Which of the first and second layers (14, 16) of the material also as both the first and second layers (14, 16) of the molten material before it is cooled and combined with each other. First and second layers of material may be formed by melting the polymer material as possible. The web production process of the material includes selecting a first material for a first layer of material and selecting a second material for a second layer of material. First and second layers of material are melt formed. Then the first and second layers of material are joined while in a molten form to the layers forming the multi-layer sheet. Then, a plurality of stems are formed on at least a second layer of material. Melt forming may include the first and second melt-forming step the second layer at the same time the material of the material such as by co-extrusion.
