摘要：
PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing a methylene chloride extract of Rumex acetosa L. which can treat cancer while simultaneously preventing cancer by inhibiting mutation is provided which can be effectively used as an anticancer and a cancer-preventing agent. CONSTITUTION: The pharmaceutical composition is prepared by extracting Rumex acetosa L. in methylene chloride and effective in treatment of cancer such as a lung cancer, ovarian cancer, melanoma, cancer of the central nervous system or colorectal cancer. For an example, Roots, stem and leaves of Rumex acetosa L. are ground to produce powder, 200g powder is extracted in 500ml methylene chloride. The extract is formulated to be administered in a concentration of 0.1 to 0.3mg/kg/day.
