PURPOSE: A flat type ribbon cable for a premises wiring is provided to accommodate a plurality of optical fibers by variously forming a hole structure of a ribbon cable. CONSTITUTION: A ribbon cable(15) has a hole(13) at its central portion, into which optical fibers are inserted. Tension wires(12) for keeping the tensile force of the cable(15) are disposed at the both sides of the hole(13). A lip cord(16) is disposed above the hole(13). In order to facilitate a work, a color member(17) is formed on the upper outer peripheral surface of the cable(15). The hole(13) is formed in a circular or a rectangular shape. In the case of the circular hole structure(13), an extra space(C) formed between the hole(13) and the ribbon cable(15) satisfies the formula of 3.3%
