The vehicle drive device includes engine and a drive shaft for driving the vehicle is connected to the engine and mechanical, a first power disengaging portion which is connected to the drive shaft, the first power disengaging portion to be mounted on a vehicle a motor generator that is mechanically connected to the drive shaft through the motor-generator mechanically connected to the supercharger and through a second power disengaging section, the second power disengaging portion which is connected to the motor-generator provided with a door. The vehicle drive device can recover the regenerative power with high efficiency.
