本発明の重合性化合物を含有する液晶組成物は、広い温度範囲において析出するという問題がなく、重合速度が速く、重合後の液晶配向規制力が高く、表示ムラ等のない表示品位に優れ、焼き付き等の表示特性に不具合を生じない優れた表示特性を有するPSA型液晶表示素子を作製することができるというすぐれた特徴を有し、実用的な液晶組成物として適している。また、これを用いた液晶表示素子は、PSA型液晶表示素子に好適に使用できる。

聚合性化合物含有本发明的液晶组合物在很宽的温度范围内的沉淀没有问题，聚合速率高，聚合后高的液晶取向限制力，是具有优异的不显示质量诸如显示不均匀， 它在具有优异的显示特性不引起的显示特性，例如癫痫发作可以产生不便，即PSA型液晶显示装置优良的特性，是适合作为实用的液晶组合物。 使用相同的液晶显示装置所用的PSA方式的液晶显示装置中适当地使用。

Polymerizable compound a liquid crystal composition containing the present invention has no problem of precipitation in a wide temperature range, the polymerization rate is high, high liquid crystal alignment control force after polymerization is excellent in not display quality of such display unevenness, having an excellent characteristic that the PSA-type liquid crystal display device having excellent display characteristics which does not cause inconvenience of display characteristics such as image sticking can be prepared, suitable as a practical liquid crystal composition. Further, the liquid crystal display device using the same can be suitably used in PSA-type liquid crystal display device.
