光電変換を行う発電層4の光入射側にガラス基板1を備える太陽電池であって、前記ガラス基板1は、レーザー光を集光照射することにより形成されて前記ガラス基板1に入射した光を散乱する内部光散乱構造2を内部に有し、前記内部光散乱構造2で散乱した光を前記発電層4側に透過させる。これにより、光を散乱させる構造に起因した発電特性の低下が防止され、ガラス面から見た際の色合いを制御可能であり、簡略な工程で安価に製造可能な太陽電池が得られる。

A solar cell comprising a glass substrate 1 on the light incident side of the power generation layer 4 which performs photoelectric conversion, the glass substrate 1, the light incident on the glass substrate 1 is formed by focused irradiation of a laser beam the internal light scattering structure 2 which scatters has therein, and transmits the light scattered by the internal light scattering structure 2 to the power generation layer 4 side.
