本発明は、半水石膏と、少なくとも1種の顔料と、媒晶剤とを含有してなり、該媒晶剤が、硫酸塩、カルボン酸塩、炭酸塩及び無機塩化物からなる群から選択された少なくとも1種の化合物であり、且つ、その添加量が、上記半水石膏100質量部に対して0.1〜5質量部の範囲であることで、半水石膏が水和した際の二水石膏が、アスペクト比1〜9の板状結晶となるようにコントロールされていることを特徴とする乾燥石膏組成物、これを用いた石膏系塗材である。
