本発明は、第二銅イオン源と、ハロゲンイオン源と、有機酸とを主成分とする銅又は銅合金材用エッチング液を用いてエッチングするエッチング処理工程と、そのエッチング処理工程にて粗化された銅又は銅合金材に対して錫及び錫合金めっき皮膜を形成させるめっき処理工程とを有し、これによって、錫及び錫合金めっき皮膜上に発生するウィスカを抑制し、製品の性能を維持し、接続性等に関する信頼性を維持させる。

The present invention includes a source of cupric ion, a halide ion source, and an etching step of etching with a copper or copper alloy material for an etching solution composed mainly of an organic acid, roughened at its etching step and a plating step of forming a tin or tin alloy plating film with respect to copper or copper alloy material, thereby suppressing whiskers generated on the tin and tin alloy plating film, maintain the performance of the product and, to maintain the reliability of connection resistance.
