補強繊維および熱硬化性樹脂が均一分散され、十分に充填補強され、外観良好で破損しにくいFRP補強PVC管継手及びその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。内部にキャビティが形成された上型と下型からなる金型を用い下型にFRP層を形成するバルクモールディングコンパウンド(BMC)又はシートモールディングコンパウンド(SMC)を挿填し、下型に予め成形された塩化ビニル系樹脂製管継手を固定し、塩化ビニル系樹脂製管継手の上部にBMC又はSMCを挿填した後、上型と下型を閉止して加圧一体成形する。
