摘要：
NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [R and R are OH, lower alkoxy or lower alkoxycarbonyloxy; R is H or lower alkoxy; R is H, 1-21C alkyl or formula II (R and R are R or halogen; n is 1-5) or formula III (l is n), provided that both R and R are lower alkoxy when R is lower alkoxy]. EXAMPLE:5-(3,4,5-Trimethoxyphenyl)-2,4-pentadienal. USE:A medicine, blood platelet agglutination inhibitor and 5-lipoxygenase action inhibitor useful as a preventing and antiallergic agent for thrombosis, cancer metastasis, etc. PREPARATION:A dienecarboxylic acid ester expressed by formula IV (R is alkyl) is reduced to give a diene alcohol compound, which is then oxidized with an oxidizing agent to afford the compound expressed by formula I (R is H). The result compound is further condensed with a compound expressed by formula V or VI, and, as necessary, subjected to reaction for removing protecting groups to provide the compound expressed by formula I (R is the group other than H).
