摘要：
PURPOSE:A base sheet for card clothing that has, as the surface layer, a felt layer of wool fibers treated with a complex formed from a titanate or zirconate and a carboxylic acid for flame proofing, thus having the felt layer free from deterioration even after tempering and needling. CONSTITUTION:A felt layer 2 which is made of wool fibers 1 treated with a complex from a titanium or zirconium salt and fluorine ion, carboxylic acid or hydroxycarboxylic acid is formed on the base 3 which is made of cotton, ramie, chemical or synthetic fiber cloth or rubber sheet to give the objective base sheet. As an outermost layer, may be a protecting coat of aluminum foil or ceramics of high heat resistance.
