PURPOSE:To make a unit smaller in size by eliminating useless reciprocating components by a construction wherein a reciprocating table moves horizontally to convey materials after a feed stick has been positioned at its resting or operating position by causing it to turn up or down respectively only by moving a sprocket chain. CONSTITUTION:Sprocket wheels 6, 7 rotates counterclockwise by movement of the chain 4 in the direction indicated with the arrows to cause a rotary shaft 24 to rotate via arms 10, 17 and links 23, 23 and further to cause the feed stick 30 to turn down to its operating position from its resting position through bevel gears 31, 32 and a feed stick shaft 28. At this moment, the sprocket chain 4a, 4b which meshes with the teeth of the sprocket wheels 6, 7 forces a reciprocatting table 1 toward the reverse direction so that the reciprocating table 1 cannot move. After this, upon a rod 11 hitting a stopper 21 the sprocket wheel 6 stops so that the reciprocating table 1, sprocket wheel 6 and chain start moving together to the left as one unit.
