SOLUTION: Terminals of bristle bundles 1-5 having the prescribed bristle bundle cross sectional shapes are formed into fused connection sections 13, the fused connection sections 13 are fixed to a handle head section 10 by fusing or sticking, or the fused connection sections 13 are arranged in a handle section molding die cavity 8, and the handle head section 10 is molded to fix them to form this brush. The number of bristles of the bristle bundles 1-5 is set to multiples of a unit number of bristles, and some spools each wound with the unit number of bristles are combined, bundled, and planted as required. The bristle bundles having the prescribed number of bristles can be obtained, there is no dispersion in the number of bristles of the bristle bundles, the bristle bundles having many bristles are prevented from being twisted or scattered, and the brush having improved quality and external appearance can be obtained.
