PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix an electrically welded saddle to a resin pipe relatively easily and surely by connecting holders to the joint after putting a saddle part onto a thermoplastic resin pipe using the holders consisting of a flexible or expansible member, and fastening and fixing the thermoplastic resin pipe by means of the joint and holder. SOLUTION: This electrically welded saddle joint is constituted of a saddle part 3 and a branch pipe connecting part 4 projectingly provided from the saddle part 3 and connecting a branch pipe thereto, and an electron beam connected to terminals 6 is buried on the joint face of the saddle part 3 with a thermoplastic resin pipe 5. For electrically welding the electrically welded saddle joint with the thermoplastic resin pipe, when the joint 7 is fixed to the pipe 5, after hooking the one end ring 2 of a rubber band 1 with the terminal 6, the other end ring 2 is pulled, the ring 2 on the other end is hooked with the terminal 6 for connection, while pressing the rubber band 1 around the pipe 5 and the joint 7 under the condition of stretching out. This work is executed on both side of the branch pipe connecting part 4, and hence the joint 7 is fixed to the pipe 5.
